Artist Statement
I created three different pictures with the help of Adobe Photoshop where I choose a picture of me, made in into black and white, and later on added color onto it. I picked my colors from the Adobe Color When Website where I picked three different 3 color rules, Triad, Double Split Complementary, and Complementary. Something that I really liked about this challenging project was that the colors may look crazy together but I think that makes the pictures unique. After adding the colors I swished the opacity to make the picture even cooler and more realistic. I added my own logo brush together onto the canvas under the picture, and I really like the outcome of all of the three different pictures.
For this project I didn't really have a specific inspiration, I just really went with the flow and tried different things. I started off with different colors but ended up switching which was a good idea. I chose this picture of me because it is one of my favorites because I have the beautiful palm tress in the background, a cool dress, and I am smiling.
